I wanted to let you know about a great organization, Digital Wish, that is all about helping you get technology into your classrooms!

When you submit a technology-based lesson plan to their site, you will be entered to win several of their technology grants. They award grants on the 15th of each month, too! You can also create a technology wish list for your classroom on their site.

They also have a ton of other available grants you can check into and apply for on their site. A wonderful resource for grant information!

Pets in the Classroom Grants

Well, today I just found an organization, Pets in the Classroom that offers grants to fund classroom pets. So, if you've been contemplating or wishing for a class pet, now you can apply for a grant to get one.

Toshiba America Foundation Grants for K-12 Math and Science Education

Toshiba America Foundation offers grants for math and science education for all grades K-12. The deadline application for 6-12, though, is coming up, Aug. 1st; for K-5th it's Oct. 1st.

Borders Going Out of Business Sale begins July 22nd

Yes, it's true and very sad, but Borders is closing it's doors after more than 40 years of business! This economy has been very hard!
