Teachers, what a fun contest and opportunity for your class to participate in: the Adopt A Plant For Your Classroom brought to you by the Green Education Foundation and Bonnie Plants!
At the Green Education Foundation page, "NASA recommends one indoor plant for every 100 square feet of living space to improve indoor air quality."
Participate in their Adopt A Plant For Your Classroom contest and your classroom could win:
- I Drink Green water bottles for each student in your class
- Winners showcased on the Green Education Foundation website and in the national press
To participate:
Submit your Certificate of Adoption and a photo of your class to Green Education Foundation, email them to service@greeneducationfoundation.org by April 30th, 2012.
Also incorporate the Adopt a Plant lesson into your curriculum found at the Green Education Foundation found here.
