$5,000 Educator Grant Contest Ends Today, October 22nd

I didn't realize this contest by Facing History and Ourselves, is already ending today and I haven't even passed this a long to you!

Facing History and Ourselves wants to hear about those educators who are teaching their students about the importance of participating in a democratic society.  They want to hear about those educators who are teaching students to stand up and speak out in the face of injustice.


To nominate:  Write a 150 word description about why this educator is an Upstander and then fill out their entry form at the http://outreach.facinghistory.org/pages/nominate

Nominations are due tonight, Oct. 22nd by 11:59pm ET.  

Prize:  One grand prize winning educator will win a $5,000 grant to benefit their school and to further their work as an educator.
