There are so many benefits and great teaching points to having a school garden--health/food nutrition, cooperation/team work, work ethic, taking care of our earth, etc.
Syngenta has a grow more vegetables seed grant program, where you could win a garden package for your school that includes vegetable seed, a flip camera and a materials donation/gift card. 3 lucky schools will be awarded their garden package.
Plus, all grant applicants who meet all application criteria and submit all necessary application materials will receive vegetable seed.
