Fashion Friday: Ways to Save on Teacher Wardrobe Plus a Tote Bag Giveaway

Ideas for Saving On Your Teacher Wardrobe:

***Always ask if they offer teacher discounts--Check this list of Teacher Discounts here.

***Subscribe to Company Emails--You'll find out about sales, contests, discounts, coupons, etc. through company emails.

***Be a fan of Store Facebook Pages:  Sometimes they offer a better discount for facebook fans than when you head to their website. Or they have a special offer just for their facebook fans.

***Enter Contests/Giveaways: Through entering contests, I personally have won 2 pairs of shoes, tons of necklaces and a maxi skirt. It really does work, you just have to be persistent and not give up, but eventually you will win a contest. It's such a fun feeling to win free clothes, too!

***Purchase clothes mid-season or towards end of season for great discounts. In fact, you are probably already seeing some great sales on summer clothes as they are getting their Fall/back to school clothes in.  Mid-July and August are a great time to purchase summer clothes.

***I hardly ever purchase clothes full-price, always hold off and wait a few weeks and you'll be able to purchase those same clothes you were eying for less.

***Check for coupons. As I mentioned in my previous post, Kohl's let's you combine their coupons with their discounts, even on their Gold Clearance with items 60-80% off.

***Shop Second-Hand stores.

***With shoes, it's probably best to get a quality, comfortable shoe that may cost a little more but will last you for years than a shoe you get a really good deal on but only lasts a year or even worse a season.
