  1. My tip: Keep watch on stores around the end of September. Many will clearance the school supplies that are left and you can get some amazing deals.

  2. My best tip for gathering supplies for your classroom is to ask your friends!
    I have had several friends and family members donate items to my classroom. Most of the things were stuff they didn't need or want anymore but filled a need in my classroom.

  3. The best back to school tip is to be frugal..go to the dolmar stores, when there is a coupon, use it! Catch the sales and shop as you can.

  5. I always asked my parents to provide tissues & glue & begin buying my supplies as soon as they are on sale.

  6. I ask my parents to volunteer tissues & glue & watch for all the school supply sales, as well as hit garage sales throughout the summer for lots of great, cheap supplies.

  7. I save money on school supplies by doing most of my shopping in July and August during the great back to school sales at Staples, Target, Office Depot, Toys R Us, etc...

  9. i scour the weekly ads to find the best prices. kids bring most supplies but we usually run out of pencils and tissues real quick!

  10. I make quarterly requests for paper towel, tissues and hand sanitizer from parents and I write grants through Donor's Choose.
