Teachers, if you've done a service project in your class or school, be sure to enter the Inter-State Studio Spreading Smiles Contest for a chance to win $750 for future service projects. The deadline to enter is March 26th, 2018. Prizes will be awarded only to school-affiliated groups.
The prizes include:
1st place: $750 Service Learning Grant
2nd place: $500 Service Learning Grant
3rd place: $250 Service Learning Grant
Be sure your project incorporates the 5 aspects of a service learning project:
**Your project meets a real community need
**Your project integrates into and enhances the curriculum
**Coordination with a community agency or the community
**Your project helps foster civic responsibility
**Your project provides structured time for reflection

Inter-State Studio is also holding a Teacher of the Year contest where you can nominate your favorite teacher that has made a difference in your life for a chance to win him/her a $300 classroom grant.
