Classroom Donor Sites Roundup...

Teachers,
with the economy in pretty bad shape right now, it's got to be hard to fund/budget not only your family needs but your classroom/school needs as well! Fortunately, there are several sites out there to help you fund your classroom needs!

So, I thought I would write up a post listing all of the possible classroom donor sites out there that I am aware of. If you know of others that are not on this list, please comment below and I will add it! Thanks

DonorsChoose: A classroom project listing site! Go here to sign up or to donate

Limeades for Learning: A partnership between Sonic and Donorschoose.org; Sonic will donate an extra $100,000 to help fund projects if they reach 1.5 million votes by September 30th. They will also give a free medium Cherry Limeade for those who vote if they reach the 1.5 million votes by 9/30! Go here to list your projects or to vote!

Adopt-a-classroom: Another great site that partners donors with teachers to help them fund their classroom projects. Go here to sign up or to donate!

DigitalWish: A site to help fund technology in the classroom! Go here to check it out and get signed up!

iLoveSchools: Here's another great site that allows teachers to list their needed classroom project funding, and connecting them with donors! Go here to sign up or donate.

Teacher WishList: Bounty has partnered with Teacher Wishlist to make it more fun for you, teachers! Not only when you upload your classroom supply wishlist, will you make it easier for parents to donate what you need in the classroom, but after 5 teachers from the same school have uploaded their lists, their school will be entered to win a $25,000 art room makeover!(drawing will happen around 10/11/11) Also, each week, 10 teachers will win $462 to help fund their classroom wishlists! (ends 9/27) Great incentives to get your lists uploaded! Go here to upload your list or to donate.

For underprivileged school districts:

Supply Our Schools: go here to sign up or donate

Kids in Need Foundation: go here to sign up or donate

A Day Made Better: OfficeMax in partnership with Adopt-a-classroom has it's own school supply event every October, where they send over a 1000 classroom supply kits to teachers in need! Go here to learn more of this event.

Please check out and a big thanks to Edutopia for some of the sites listed!

These are what I am aware of, teachers! Please comment below if you know of others that I have missed! Feel free to comment, as well, if you have classroom projects that you would like listed on another blog post that I will do later! Thanks so much!
