Nominate a Teacher to Win a $25 DonorsChoose Gift Card

Congratulations goes to Ms. Trinh and the teacher she nominated, Tiffany Andrews and congratulations to Bradley Hankins and his nomination to Debbie Hankins.  They both win a $25 Donors Choose gift card to go towards their classroom projects.

There were so many great projects nominated, I decided to pick 2 more projects to help fund.  Congratulations to Mrs. Robbins and Ashton Anderson, they will both be getting a $25 Donors Choose gift card to go towards their projects, too!

Congratulations to Christine W. who won the Apple Post-it Note Dispenser from our Apple for the Teacher Giveaway.  Thank you to everyone who participated in last week's giveaway, too.

Teachers have to spend so much out of their own pockets for classroom materials. is an online charity to help fund classroom project requests.  Teachers post their classroom requests and then donors can donate as much as they are able.

Check out here.

Do you currently have a classroom project that needs funding or do you know a teacher that has a project in need of funding?

This giveaway is for you!  I have two  $25 gift cards to give away.   If you would like a chance to win one of these, please comment below the teacher you'd like to nominate and what their project is about, or provide their project link.

I will randomly pick 2 comments to win a $25 DonorsChoose gift card each.  This giveaway will end next Monday, Oct. 1st at 11:59pm MST.

The 2 winners will be announced Tuesday, Oct. 2nd.

I am very appreciative to Debby Guardino for heading up this much needed giveaway and also to DonorsChoose for donating these gift cards to Teacher's Market.

 Good luck, teachers.

  1. I nominate this project.
I think these Hokki stools look great. I have heard wonderful things about them from teachers. Chris works very hard getting materials for her middle school students. I would love for her to have more of these in her classroom. (And yes, I am completely jealous that I do not have any in my classroom. I have some very wiggly kinderkids!)

    1. This project was funded but Chris has already submitted a new one to get more Hokki stools!

  2. I would love to win one! I have a friend, Eric Briggs, who is computer illiterate. And, so his project on needs a LOT of help.
He is an awesome coach, just not computer savvy. If I won, I would donate it to his project, Can You Say "Sound System?" Thanks!

  3. I would love help getting my project funded.

    Thanks for the opportunity.

  4. I would like to nominate Tiffany Andrews, she is a special education teacher, who is asking for an ipad for her Aut Class. This tool would be used to help individualize student instruction and motivate them to succeed.

  5. so I am on my wife's page and noticed this and thought I would nominate her. She is
Mrs. Hankins at Cook Elementary in Utah
Her project is for her 4th grade class and she wants to get as many items into her classroom to help her students with Math. Here is her link to limeades for learning
    thank you
    Mr. Hankins

  6. I'd like to nominate myself and my project! We could really use a printer in my classroom:

  7. I would like to nominate myself and this great social studies/economics project. Our rural poverty level students could really use these supplies and technology.

  8. Elizabeth,

Thank you so much for your support and passion for spreading the word about! Your give away is a great way to engage teachers and the community to help build strong and creative classrooms.

    All the best,
    Carolyn, Marketing Employee

  9. I would like to nominate my own project.
Our school is in a financial crisis this year. We have no money to purchase anything for our classrooms. This project is for a projector screen, 11 x 17 paper, construction paper and pencil sharpeners. I teach 4th grade and am having a difficult time trying to use small paper for everything and having no construction paper for projects. I would appreciate your help!

  10. I would love to nominate my project, which only has fifteen days left. It's partially funded. It contains some technology accessories, but most important it contains some leapfrog tag books we need for the pens that were previously donated to us. Any help would be appreciated.

  11. I nominate my mother, Mrs. Mary Holt. She teaches students with learning difficulties, Kindergarten-Fifth grade, at a high poverty school. Her project would provide storage cabinets and bins to sort their learning materials so they can be located easily. Thank you!!

  12. I nominate my Co-Teacher Tiffany deAlba. She is working on putting together a 'Children's Obeisty Awarness' walk at our school and she could use all the help she can get!

  13. I would like to nominate Mrs. Anita West of Elgin, OK. Mrs. West teaches 4th graders in rural Oklahoma. Her newest project, which is asking for materials to assist in tying the Common Core Standards into her Daily 5 literacy framework, can be found here

    Thank you for your consideration!!

  14. I am nominating Mrs. Marcie Anderson of Minnesota Transitions Chartered School Elementary. She is the Kindergarten teacher.

  15. I would like to nominate my project. We are in desperate need at our school this year! Without this project my students will be using handheld pencil sharpeners and making no projects. Thanks for all you do to make teachers' lives a little easier!

This is the project I would like to nominate. Our school is having severe budget problems this year. We are unable to purchase anything and crossing our fingers we make it through the school year. My project is for a projector screen, a ton of construction paper to share with the all the 4th grade students and two pencil sharpeners. Thanks for your consideration.

  17. What a great idea! I would love some help with my writing project:

Writing instruction is so important, especially for struggling students! Thank you for your consideration!
