Nominate a Teacher to Win a $25 DonorsChoose Gift Card

Congratulations goes to Ms. Trinh and the teacher she nominated, Tiffany Andrews and congratulations to Bradley Hankins and his nomination to Debbie Hankins.  They both win a $25 Donors Choose gift card to go towards their classroom projects.

There were so many great projects nominated, I decided to pick 2 more projects to help fund.  Congratulations to Mrs. Robbins and Ashton Anderson, they will both be getting a $25 Donors Choose gift card to go towards their projects, too!

Congratulations to Christine W. who won the Apple Post-it Note Dispenser from our Apple for the Teacher Giveaway.  Thank you to everyone who participated in last week's giveaway, too.

Teachers have to spend so much out of their own pockets for classroom materials.  DonorsChoose.org is an online charity to help fund classroom project requests.  Teachers post their classroom requests and then donors can donate as much as they are able.

Check out DonorsChoose.org here.

Do you currently have a classroom project that needs funding or do you know a teacher that has a project in need of funding?

This giveaway is for you!  I have two  $25 DonorsChoose.org gift cards to give away.   If you would like a chance to win one of these, please comment below the teacher you'd like to nominate and what their project is about, or provide their project link.

I will randomly pick 2 comments to win a $25 DonorsChoose gift card each.  This giveaway will end next Monday, Oct. 1st at 11:59pm MST.

The 2 winners will be announced Tuesday, Oct. 2nd.

I am very appreciative to Debby Guardino for heading up this much needed giveaway and also to DonorsChoose for donating these gift cards to Teacher's Market.

 Good luck, teachers.

  1. I nominate this project. http://www.donorschoose.org/project/cool-hokki-stools/871805/?challengeid=208861
I think these Hokki stools look great. I have heard wonderful things about them from teachers. Chris works very hard getting materials for her middle school students. I would love for her to have more of these in her classroom. (And yes, I am completely jealous that I do not have any in my classroom. I have some very wiggly kinderkids!)

  2. I would love to win one! I have a friend, Eric Briggs, who is computer illiterate. And, so his project on Donorschoose.org needs a LOT of help.
He is an awesome coach, just not computer savvy. If I won, I would donate it to his project, Can You Say "Sound System?" Thanks!

  9. I would like to nominate my own project. http://www.donorschoose.org/project/bed-sheet-or-projector-screeen/840888/
Our school is in a financial crisis this year. We have no money to purchase anything for our classrooms. This project is for a projector screen, 11 x 17 paper, construction paper and pencil sharpeners. I teach 4th grade and am having a difficult time trying to use small paper for everything and having no construction paper for projects. I would appreciate your help!

  10. I would love to nominate my project, which only has fifteen days left. It's partially funded. It contains some technology accessories, but most important it contains some leapfrog tag books we need for the pens that were previously donated to us. Any help would be appreciated. http://www.donorschoose.org/project/learning-with-technology-ii/800146/?verify=-1449381408
