Helping Teachers/Classrooms Affected by Hurricane Sandy

My heart goes out to all those who were affected by Hurricane Sandy.  The northeast has really had it hard the past few weeks.

But, I am grateful to see so many that want to donate and help those who have lost things from the storm.

I know there are many teachers and classrooms that were affected by the storm, but I have also seen companies and individuals who are donating and gathering donations for classrooms and teachers in need.  It really is wonderful to see.

I thought I would put together a list of companies and individuals that are wanting to help and donate to classrooms and teachers affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Ward's Natural Science on facebook announced last week that if any of their customers are in need of assistance at their school to post/comment at the Ward's Natural Science facebook page.  Just post your school's name and needs at their facebook page.

Science Kit posted at their facebook page last week that they have materials to donate and can send them to schools who were affected by Sandy.

Just post where your school is at the Science Kit & Boreal Laboratories facebook page so they can help you out.

Discount School Supply posted at their website that if your early childhood program suffered damage during the storm, they are ready to help.  Just call 1-877-362-6695 to speak to a Service Specialist about whatever items are needed to restore your classroom.
